    Antioxidant 1024 CAS 32687-78-8 is a highly efficient non-polluting antioxidant with excellent performance, soluble in methanol and acetone, slightly soluble in chloroform and ethyl acetate, insoluble in water, with a dual structure of hindered phenol and hydrazine, and has antioxidant and metal deactivation functions. As a metal deactivator, it does not produce color stains, can be used alone or with other general antioxidants, with excellent synergistic effect.

    Antioxidant 1024 is a multifunctional hindered phenolic antioxidant with metal deactivation capability. Unlike conventional antioxidants, it can effectively deactivate residual copper and transition metal ions in polymer systems, making it especially suitable for wire & cable insulation and metal-contact applications.

    1. Wire & Cable Insulation Compounds

    Antioxidant 1024 is widely used in PE, XLPE, and polyolefin cable insulation materials where copper-induced polymer degradation is a major issue. Trace copper ions from conductors can accelerate oxidation and shorten cable lifespan. Antioxidant 1024 helps suppress catalytic oxidation and improves long-term heat aging stability.

    Antioxidant 1024 is highly effective in NBR fuel hoses, EPDM seals, elastomers, and automotive rubber parts exposed to oil, gasoline, or metal contact environments. Its excellent extraction resistance helps maintain antioxidant performance even after prolonged exposure to fuels and lubricants.

    4. Hot Melt Adhesives & Resin Systems

    The product is used in hot melt adhesives and resin compounds where thermal stability and low discoloration are critical. It provides additional protection against metal contamination introduced from manufacturing equipment and fillers.
